Jim Thompson’s House
Jim Thompson’s House is located in the end of Soi Kasemsan 2, which takes about 5 minute walk from BTS National Statdium Exit one. Entrance fee is 100 Baht but for those under 25 years old, you get 50% off. Jim Thompson is the pioneer of the silk industry in Thailand who mysteriously disappeared while on his vacation in Cameron Highlands, Malaysia. Now, his house was turned into a museum. There is guided tour every 30 minutes which will tour you around this teak house.

MBK
After Jim Thompson’s House, we went to MBK mall which is just 10 minutes walk away. Here we bought Thai local delicacies at cheap prices. One sentence to describe MBK: Night market stuffs in an airconditioned mall. It is already lunch time but we can not decide as to where to eat, so we walked to Siam Paragon and ate at Secret Recipe again.
BTS Sky Train Joy Ride
From Siam Paragon, we took the BTS Sky Train going to Mo Chit station for a joy ride. We passed Victory Monument and arrived at Mo Chit Station. At Mo Chit Station, you can alight here if you want to go to Chatuchack Weekend Market. Since today is not a weekend and Chatuchack is closed, we took the BTS again back to Siam Station to switch to Silom line. We passed through Lumphini Park and arrived at the end of Silom Station which is BTS Saphan Taksin. If you are going to central pier to go to the tourist places, you should alight here. Since we are already done exploring Bangkok’s riverside tourist areas in the last 2 days, we took another train back to Siam Station where we could switch to Sukhumvit line. We had joy ride as far as to On Nut Station and alighted in Phrom Phrong Station for Emporium on our way back.

Emporium Mall
Emporium is the sister mall of Siam Paragon but is a little bit smaller. We just strolled for a while, did some last minute shopping and decided to go back to our hotel for dinner.
Amontre Restaurant
This is the house restaurant of Fraser Place. Like other restaurants, they’ve got big servings. We ordered salmon for only 220++ Baht and Red Snapper for 300++ Baht and both of them are delectable to the palate. Again, another highly recommended restaurant if you are staying in Langsuan area.
If you have more time...you can go to the following places.Vimanmek Teak House
Dusit Zoo
Siam Ocean World
Phuket / Krabi
